Control your PC with Smartphone using Remote Desktop App or Team Viewer App

How to control your pc with smartphone using Remote Desktop App or TeamViewer APP:

Remote Desktop: 

                                            Remote desktop is a program or an operating system feature that allows the user to connect to a computer in another location, see that computer's desktop and interact with it as if it were local!!!

Steps to Be followed to get Access to ur PC via Smartphone App:

Applications Needed to be installed on your Smartphone :

For Android Devices:Microsoft Remote Desktop App for Android

For Windows Phones:Microsoft Remote Desktop App

For iPhone Devices: Microsoft Remote Desktop App for iOS

Enabling Remote Access to Ur Windows Based PC:

• Goto Computer-->System Properties--> Remote Settings

                                or 

• Goto RUN (Winkey + R)  --> Type "sysdm.cpl" as shown and hit Enter to Open System Properties:

                   

Type Sysdm.cpl and Hit Enter

• Enable the Below Settings As Shown:

Select Allow Remote Connections to this Computer and OK Allow Remote Connections

  

Configure Remote Desktop App on Android to Connect with your PC:

    Note: 

•  If both your PC and Smartphone connected with the same  Wi-Fi Network.

Then You can just use your PC NAME to connect from ur Smartphone via App!

• If both your smartphone and PC are in different network, then you must use PC`s GLOBAL IP to connect with the  Remote Desktop APP.

    

Open Remote Desktop App on Mobile (Here,Android Device is used for screenshots).                         

Open RD App and Tap +

                      

            Tap + and then Select Desktop:

                                              

Select Desktop

                      

      Now DO as Shown in Screenshot.

I have used Local ip for Connecting to my laptop from the RD app and then Tap Save!   

• Once finished, U can test whether it works... click on ur IP list on RD app.

                                     

Click Connect and Type Username and Password for ur windows PC!

• Click connect, as shown below. and then type USERNAME and PASSWORD to connect with ur PC! 

       

Connected to Remote Desktop APP

                             

  Thats it, You have connected with Windows based PC From ur Smartphone.

• Team Viewer, an universally used remote control app for home and professional purposes!

NOTE: 

• TEAM VIEWER WORKS ONLY ON ACTIVE INTERNET CONNECTION!

ON Mobile devices:

•  For iPhone :  TeamViewer for iOS

ON ur PC, Open Team Viewer on a Active Internet Connection as shown!

Note the ID and Password!

Now, Open TeamViewer on your Smartphone,Type the ID and then Password on TeamViewer APP as shown.

Type ID noted on your PC or Friends PC 

Once, initiated a Connection to ur PC or Friend PC, Type Password and thus connected!

• TeamViewer requires internet Connection on both PC and SmartPhone!

• Remote Desktop can Work both on Local Networks and Internet! and Remote desktop does not requires an active internet connection when using via local networks such as Wi-Fi and other networks!
