Recover a corrupted Pendrive or Harddisk

  • If u ever faced   problem in pendrive or local hard disk as shown below





Step 1:  Plug in Corrupted PenDrive or Memory Card or HardDisk.

Step 2:  Open Run(WinKey + R)  ->  Type CMD and [HIT ENTER].

              
   Before You Proceed,
  • TYPE, "CHKDSK [DRIVE_LETTER:] /f  /Spotfix " 
     
                Example: chkdsk i: /f /spotfix

You can alternatively Right-Click Pendrive->Properties->Tools->Error Check
               
  
Step 3: Type "Diskpart" and [HIT ENTER].

Step 4: Now, on Diskpart Prompt.
  • Type "LIST DISK" and [HIT ENTER].
 List Of Disks Connected to your PC will be Shown as below:

  • Type "SELECT DISK 1"  and [HIT ENTER] 
In my Case, PENDRIVE as Disk 1
  •  Now Type "CLEAN"  [Cleans all Partitions].
Cleans the Partitions

Step 5: Now,Lets Create the Partition for the Drive  
  •   Type "CREATE PARTITION PRIMARY" and [HIT ENTER].
Partition Created
Step 6: Format the Drive in order to Use it! 
  • Type "FORMAT FS=FAT32 QUICK" and [HIT ENTER].
Format the Drive
NOTE:  FS = FileSystem 
          FAT32  - Use for PenDrive or Memory Cards.
          NTFS   -  Use for Corrupted Hard Disk.
